Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. This is the time it takes for an item to be packaged and delivered to the postal service. See below for the additional delivery times once your order has been processed.
In the event that these standards cannot be met for your order, an email stating the updated processing time will be sent immediately to the email you provide at checkout. You will also have an opportunity to cancel your order at this time if the new order fulfillment timeline does not meet your needs or expectations.
Shipping RAtes & Delivery Estimates
Exact shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We use real-time shipping calculation provided by USPS at the time of checkout. This means that shipping costs are calculated for your unique order based on the weight of your items and the shipping address you provide. The chart below defines the shipping options you will have at checkout. Please note that, based on weight, some items/orders may not be eligible for USPS First Class Mail service.
International Shipping, Customs, Duties, & Taxes
Cost and estimated delivery time will be given at checkout for all international orders. However, please keep in mind that this delivery time may not account for possible delays in customs, etc. Additionally, Things Unseen is not responsible for any extra customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Orders Requiring Multiple Shipments
We want your items to arrive in perfect condition! Due to the broadly varied nature of the size and care requirements for our products, your order may be shipped in multiple packages. For example, if you order a journal and a fine art print, these may be shipped separately to ensure your fine art print is protected and packaged propery. You will NOT be charged any additional shipping fees if we decide to ship your order in multiple packages.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a shipment confirmation email that includes your tracking number as soon as we have purchased a shipping label for your order. This email indicates that your package is on its way to the mail carrier! Tracking updates will become available once the package has been scanned by the carrier.
Damages During Shipping
Things Unseen is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier AND our support team directly to file a claim with the postal service. Please take photos of the damaged packaging and products and save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Canceling An Order
You may submit a request to cancel your order (custom orders and special orders not included) at any time. However, in light of our efforts to process and ship your order promptly, Things Unseen is NOT obligated to agree to the cancelation of any order.
If we can meet your request to cancel your order, the full amount of your order will be refunded. If your items have already shipped and we cannot meet your request, you may return the items within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the full amount less the initial shipping fees. (Note that return shipping fees are also the responsibility of the customer.)
Return & Exchange Policy
You may return undamaged items within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or a refund of the full price of the items less the initial shipping fees. Items must be returned unused and in the original condition and packaging. Custom orders and special orders are NOT eligible for return or exchange.
If you wish to make a return/exchange, please notify Things Unseen so that we will be expecting your items in the mail. Returned/exchanged items must be postmarked within 30 days of purchase, and customers are responsible for all return and exchange shipping fees. We will notify you once we have received your item(s) and either credited your account or shipped your exchange item(s). Please see below for refund processing time or for returns on items that were damaged or defective upon receipt.
Refund Processing Time
It may take awhile for funds for returned items to become available in your account. Once you receive an email from Things Unseen notifying you of a successful return and credit to your account, please allow up to 7 additional days for those funds to process and become available to you. If you do not receive the funds within those 7 days, please contact Things Unseen immediately.
Damaged Or Defective Items
In the rare event that you receive item(s) from Things Unseen that were unknowingly damaged or defective PRIOR to shipping, please email Things Unseen with a description and picture of the damage as well as your request for either a refund or replacement of the item. Things Unseen will be in touch with you to resolve the issues promptly! We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for the opportunity to make things right!
